Steady Supportive Medical Nutrition Therapy
This is where lasting change happens. Nutrition is a daily practice. Mastery happens through steady, compassionate refinement of effort over time. In these visits you will learn new skills, practice those skills then troubleshoot barriers and adjust your plan as your life and health evolve.
We will focus on sustainable routines, not perfection. We will use symptom tracking when relevant. We will create gentle structure for stability especially when stress is high. Eventually you will learn to break free from dieting, emotional eating loops, body image distress and disordered patterns of restrictive or binging behaviors.
My approach is collaborative, non-shaming, and practical. Our work is guided by HAES, DBT - informed skills of distress tolerance and emotional regulation, ACT- informed values and flexibility and Relational and compassion-centered approaches.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and teach skills. I do not provide psychotherapy! I can and do coordinate care with your therapist and other team members when indicated.
